PremiCath is a 27G (1.1 Fr)Flexane® (thermosensitive polyurethane) catheter for mid-long term I.V.therapy or TPN. The 24G splitting introducer needle allows easy cannulation of the peripheral veins and features a transparent hub, which enables early detection
of blood flashback. The catheter is strong,safe and easy to maintain and features an integral extension,reducing the risk of catheter-related infections.

A softer formulation of PUR together with a guidewire to aid insertion is available. The insertion is through the 24 gauge splitting introducer needle.

All PremiCath come as a basic set,which includes the catheter and introducer,and also is provided as part of a complete procedure tray. Markings on the catheter are at cm intervals.
